Incumbent assists visitors in the process of self-education and also plans and presents health education to patients and visitors to the hospital through the use of the patient cart. This position reports to the Coordinator of the Community Health Information Center. The C.H.I.C. is funded through the McKay-Dee Foundation and the incumbent will support Foundation and Hospital goals through the direction of the coordinator.

Bachelors degree in health education or related health field. Experience in adult education/making presentations. Knowledgeable concerning health and community resources. Computer skills, Word Perfect preferred. Excellent communication skills with the public, including ability to communicate sensitively with clients. Good organizational skills. Fluent in Spanish preferred.
